Do Pets Go To Heaven Bible Verse

Animals have their lives in god. It is hard for us to love others if we do not first love the lord jesus christ.

The bible says, “no good thing will he withhold from those who walk uprightly” (psalm 84:11, nkjv).

Do pets go to heaven bible verse. But men and women who do not believe in christ will to hell. Do pets / animals go to heaven? Let’s take a look at the scriptures that relate to animals and what is said of them:

The bible does not give a definitive answer to the question of whether we will see our pets in heaven, but it does say, with god, all things are possible. (matthew 19:26, niv) rather than speculate about things that are at present unknowable, we can turn our thoughts toward thanking god for the tremendous gift of joy that our furry friends bring to us now. Moreover, our specific pets, might not be in heaven. Heaven is better than we know.

God will bless his people with eternal life as a gift of his grace when jesus comes again (2 timothy 1:10). This is where all of our digging into what the bible literally says about heaven meets the very first point we made head on. What the bible says about animals.

According to many of them, yes, animals probably do go to heaven. Animals do not go to heaven. Therefore while our god loves and cares for animals while they are alive, they do not go to heaven, nor do they go to hell.

The question of whether our pets go to heaven requires an examination of the natures of animals, of humans, and of god. As one dies, so dies the other. The bible never directly addresses the question of whether animals go to heaven when they die, although it does specifically mention at least one type of animal in heaven:

Although they are not created in god’s image, like man, they are very precious to god, who is also their maker. Now, lastly, with regard to specific pets being raised from the dead, that would, i think, be pure speculation. 2 i saw the holy city, the new jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from god, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.

The only biblical point that might cause you to think that would be that god intends you to be fully happy with him. The bible doesn’t directly address whether our pets will be with us in heaven, but we do know that god loves us and wants us to be happy. Just as many people who reject jesus’ power in their lives, it might not be safe to introduce them in heaven.

However, we can use general biblical principles to develop some clarity on the subject. The bible does not give any explicit teaching on whether pets/animals have “souls” or whether pets/animals will be in heaven. Animals were not created in god’s image and are never portrayed in scripture as going to heaven or paradise.

The lesser creatures await christ's return to redeem the sons of god so they, too, will be released from physical death to eternal life. There are no household pets mentioned in either place, but the fact that animals at all are mentioned means it is completely possible that we could see dogs and cats as well. In psalm 104 we read that animals look to.

And every creature which is in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard i saying. Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; Suffice it to say that a lot of christians believe that pets do go to heaven and that there will be animals in heaven.

Animals cannot take the steps needed to qualify for “the heavenly calling.” ( hebrews 3:1 ) these steps include taking in knowledge, exercising faith, and obeying god’s commands. The bible says there is a time to be born, and a time to die (ecclesiastes 3:2). We can trust god that heaven will be a place filled with everything necessary for our happiness.

3 and i heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “look! Animals act instinctively and cannot be faulted if they bite, scratch or even kill because of their nature to survive. Therefore, it is critical that we remind everyone that they need to get right with god themselves or their chances of seeing a departed pet again are zero.

As one dies, so dies the other. As the one dieth, so dieth the other; So that a man hath no preeminence above a beast:

Even when we allow our imaginations to run wild on the joys of heaven, we will not really know the realities until we are there, but one thing is certain, nothing will compare to being in the eternal presence of the lord jesus christ. The same fate awaits them both: Do pets / animals have souls / spirits? answer:

That is why we must never take life for granted, but see every minute as a gift from god to be used for his glory. The bible makes it clear that the majority of people will not go to heaven—see matthew chapter 7, verses 13 and 14 (mat 7:13,14) for one example. 1 then i saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.

God knows how much we love our pets and how much they mean to us. Based on the importance god gives to animals, what the bible says and what i hear the holy spirit say, i believe we may expect to see our beloved pets back in heaven. Even one thing befalleth them:

There is no mention in the bible of a pet heaven or dog heaven—and for good reason. Yea, they have all one breath; However, this might not rule out the possibility.

If the presence of that pet is essential for you to know and love god that way, i suspect he will be there. God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them.
